Subspecies carries no moral or fitness connotation by itself.

It's just the term used for populations with different characteristics within a species.

You're right, there's nothing inherently wrong with africans being dumber. They should've stayed on the savannahs rather than being dragged into civilization.

Correct. When taken from outside their habitat they become invasive and threathen the survival of other subspecies.
