This just sounds like a lefty making the extremely tired appeal to popularity fallacy. I knew several White Canadians in Alberta. They were all identical to White people in America. They held no hatred for America. And they're not the kind of people prone to serious mood swings like the Twitter woman is suggesting.

Albertans are so different than Torontonians that they might as well be in a different country.

I'll have to take your word for it. Everywhere I've travelled, all the people I've met, and all the things I've seen and read, White people who live in rural areas are near universally good people. It is only those White people corrupted by city and suburban life prone to that corruption.

USA : ''Secure your border to reduce human and drug smuggling into the USA.''

Canada's government : ''No, my corrupt buddies benefit from those. If you put tarifs, I put tarifs back!''

USA : ''Here are 25% tarifs, retard.''

Canada : ''NO PLEASE DADDY I'M SORRY I'LL DO WHAT YOU ASKED.''

Moldy wet carboard.

NPC level intelligence demonstrating inherent inability to comprehend nuance. Obviously some Canadians hate America, and others love America. It is also possible to love certain aspects of America while hating others.

Also, fyi, it's actually the Canadian media that constantly shits on America and repeats this idea of Canada's national identity being "not America" over and over and over. So the Canadians who think like this are just the NPCs who get their entire identity and worldview from media and walk around thinking that they're well-informed intellectuals.

Spot on. Our CBC is literally tax funded anti-US programming; that's all it is.

I don't much care for Canada. I'd invade it if I were president.

Canada exists to be made fun of.

Fun fact: the Canadian parliament currently has a dozen MPs that are known to our intelligence services to be compromised foreign assets, but they won't release the names.

The CCP conducts military exercises on our soil.

We not only consistently fail to uphold NATO committments, but we've let our actual military fall apart because we think we can mooch off the US military.

We are terrible allies.

I was 30 years old until I realized Canada even existed. I knew it was a country, but I had no idea people actually came from there. Like Greenland, Arctic circle or Antarctica.

It's that Canada is literally the Rhode Island of the world, that occasionally produces a good comedian, and that's about it.

90% of our population lives within 100 miles of the US border. It's less a country than it is a fungal growth.
