There's a term, forgot what it was called but it's when a foreign language tries to force a word or name that uses pronunciations that wouldn't naturally occur in English. Recently, it happened with Kamala being pronounced "kuh-MAHL-uh" instead of "kammal-ook" or however the fuck the bitch's name is pronounced.

I could never remember which was the "correct" way to pronounce it (so I could intentionally pronounce it wrong) so I pronounced that nigressess name as wrong as possible with 'kahm-oool-uh'.
