The whole idea of a "selie" is so common that people don't realize how cringe it is. It was Webster's word of the year in 2013 and it's completely warped people, especially "cute" White women. The amount of vapid garbage and thirst trap "content" that gets propagated via social media borders on apocalyptic insanity.
