The democrats were doing a pretty good job of keeping certain populations under control. It's too bad we called them out on their obvious lies. Perhaps we could've ignored them a little longer until they achieved the dream they have been looking for 150 years.
I'm one of those sorts who doesn't believe that we should've shed innocent blood to abolish slavery. The Civil War was pointless, and victory meant nothing for either side.
Some problems solve themselves. Just let things work themselves out. Don't try to force your will on others. Let God do his thing.
