Why do I have to dignify these languages of savagery by speaking their words?
I live in New Zealand, which is especially egregious with applying every spear-chucking, adze-clubbing, tree-climbing, coconut-munching maori nigger word into everyday life and conversation.
You just get so tired some days.

When the British came to America, they found the Indian civilizations already here. Obviously, they were decimated by the plagues, but the British settlers were wise enough to listen to the wisdom of the elders of the Indian civilizations. While the British in Great Britain were insulting us for becoming "Indianized", we were learning how to survive and become truly independent.
The New Zealanders tried to find co-existence with the natives rather than integrating the good ideas and leaving the bad ones behind. They might have learned some things from the Maori. It's a little late for that now. New Zealand is soon to be a lost colony, while the Maori will keep trucking along.
Europeans are not inherently better than the other races if they refuse to learn from their ancestors and adapt to changing circumstances. Our pattern has always been to build colonies that integrate with the local population. Inevitably, we white men become better men with better understanding and naturally rise to become the leaders of the native tribes. It's a pattern repeated all throughout history. The New Zealanders never conquered, they never integrated, they just chose co-existence. Co-existence puts white men on a bad footing.
