Nah. The british were creating it. Rothschild already ensured that Israel was going to be pushed into statehood by the British all the way back in the 1910s.

Jews in israel just chimped out and didn't trust the plan ™, so it got statehood earlier. But it was already very much in motion and going to happen. Just perhaps in the 50s instead of 1948.

And the British told the jews that they had to share the land with Arabs in the land of Israel which they did not own. Which the jews did not like, because they are perpetual selfish manchildren.
