Boomers struggling to understand how to setup their mega jewed tv with the latest mega jewed nonsense so they can keep watching the same old mega jewed news are a sight to behold.

I can understand that a little bit. I've had insomnia my entire life. It's very difficult for me to fall asleep, and stay asleep for longer than 3-4 hours.
There are a few things I can do to help fall asleep, like eating right before bed (not healthy, I know, but it's preferable to not getting sleep), and watching a little bit of TV with dinner to help shut the brain off. My problem is that I'm a night owl and my brain races at night. I think some people are just hard wired that way, to be awake at night. Vitamin D3 has also helped a lot. Magnesium and melatonin help as sleep aides, but they make it much harder to get up in the morning, so I don't use them much any more. Exercise also helps a lot, but now that I'm not young any more it requires I get more sleep.
