Nah, japs and koreans can be tan if they get a lot of sunlight, I assume chinese are the same.

Its the same for Mediterraneans. We look white if we live in a cold area without much sun, but if we get a tan, we turn as brown as arabs (who were probably whiter in the past, before they mixed with Canaanites),
