This is so strange to me, because my former neighbor had a whole family of pit bulls and the dad pit was a 100lb giant yet NONE of them acted aggressive ever. Those same neighbors had two small children and they let their dogs loose around them all the time, never had any incidents.
The dog my family adopted from them has been with us for 8 years since he was a puppy (I was still in grade school) and has literally never tried to attack anyone. He gets territorial towards other dogs but even then, he has never tried to kill any of them. And this dog has escaped countless times because our fence is old and worn, yet in all the times he’s had free reign of the neighborhood, he’s never tried to attack anyone or anything and has even let strangers pet him. Even have my infant nephew in the same house as him and the dog has never even so much as made an attempt to grab him.
Now I’m wondering if he’s a pit bull at all, because he definitely looks a bit different from the ones I see images of frequently online. He looks practically nothing like the two in this article, for example. He’s also fairly small in comparison. If I had the money I’d get a DNA test, because now I’m suspicious. His behavior doesn’t align with what I see and hear about pit bulls.
What most people call pitbulls now are mutts. Real pitbulls are athletic, not overly muscular and top out at about 50 lbs. Most niggers as well as pitbull haters here couldn't pick a real pitbull out of a lineup of 5 dogs.
