I only mess with JRTs for a smaller breed, and German shepherds for larger breeds. Both are super useful, and intelligent in my first hand experience. I don’t like what I call foo foo dogs similar to the types you describe that are “boutique” style breeds that women bring everywhere. I’m not for all of that. I do like the smell of wet dog though. Wish I could bottle it. 🙃

I’ll tell you one of the breeds I really never understand that my friends wife love is the pug breed. What they’ve done to create that breed is downright criminal. It’s disgusting.
