Trump is very quickly turning into Obama -- a do-nothing Great Hope™ candidate with a fan club of TrumpForce™ sycophants. The American People keep crashing head-first into this wall again and again: *there is no substitution for grassroots engagement.*
I think Trump's biggest fans are people who hate our political situation but aren't actually willing to do anything about it, like run for local office or organizing their community to pressure state and local officials. So they pour all their energy into glorifying the myth that "Superman" will save us all. That's not how it works, but if you try to remind them of that, well, "fuck you, doomer!"
Edit: And yes, I do know my local county officials and have lobbied them for changes. Some have been successful, and some I know will require money because other groups have paid to have things that way. But I am engaged and try to get others in my community involved.

That is not fair. There are plenty of people who don't want to get involved in fishy, corrupt, theatrical politics, but want to do simple, honest work. And they want to NOT get fucked in the ass. And they were deceived into thinking Trump would change that, but he is just a "things get 1% better now!" type at best. Adolf Hitler in contrary has lifted Germany from a shithole into a world power that could have defeated the jewish hegemony within a FEW YEARS, which was an unprecedented economic miracle.
Also what the fuck do you think that would change? You'd need an army of people to get into politics, all willing to get shit on by the jewish media, be generally considered racist and stupid, and fight uphill battles the entire time. And even then the established powers won't just let it pass, even if it would succeed. They would make sure to keep their stranglehold of power, with their precious high-level politicians who just rotate around positions of power (who become millionaires through corruption).
