Of course. The director is legit and I'm willing to give him a chance. It was alright. Certainly no "Lawrence of Arabia" or any great epic, but not entirely offensive. It definitely had "diversity casting" but it was done somewhat appropriately. Didn't care to watch the second chapter.
It definitely wasn't as good as it could be, but it was worth a watch. Especially since it's a story that's been deemed "unfilmable" for a long time until recently. It tries to be high fantasy with some cerebral elements, which is pretty rare these days too.
Definitely better than *Avengers 54* or *Fast and Furious 32,* you know?
