I can only remember 3 things right now:
1 Car technology, the real white headlights and car stereo with Bluetooth hands free for phones, that really make driving more safe.
2 Bluetooth headphones with touch controls, no more need to waste time looking for the right buttons to press.
3 High speed internet, allowing to watch streaming movies in real time easily like on TV, and overall lag free connection to internet in real time.
Do you remember anything else?
* The completion of the Human Genome Project (allowing researchers to isolate diseases and formulate more precise cures);
* Graphene Isolation (*a huge breakthrough with limitless potential. This stuff could replace carbon fiber!*);
* New Hydroponic Food Growing and Water Purification systems (not exactly new, but now scalable to actually matter);
* Reusable Rockets (made entirely by White, American engineers, Elon!);
* 3D Printing (another huge breakthrough revolutionizing industry to make third-world slave labor obsolete)
These are the biggest ones that I can recall at the moment. They're not necessarily "sexy" or of any immediate benefit, but these are the kinds of "transparent" tech that make our lives so comfortable and are so easy to take for granted.
And yet people are more sick. Any day now it will get better. Any day now, mhm.

But, in short, I can assure you that sitting "like niggers under a tree waiting for death after hunting and building a mud hut" will NOT bring you peace or make you feel fulfilled, LOL. Not even sitting in your room watching TV or playing games will do that. Men are meant to get out into the world and solve problems. It really does sound like you spend too much time in introspective thought.
