There were quite a lot of movies with White alpha students bullying beta nerds in high school during 80's-90's. They called them nerds, but today they would be called autistic incels. Does anybody know why Hollywood was making such movies, and if they were based on real high school life, or if it was just propaganda?

what's busted to me is that those nerd characters were always extremely smart and resourceful. IRL, we grew up and most became very successful in tech, finance, law, etc.
but now the modern analogue is no longer smart... just milquetoast punching bags of mediocrity. it's like having all the downsides of being a nerd without any of the upsides.
nah, we were already spergs and wall touchers. i guess they became trannies and coomer incels getting their rocks off spouting half-baked communist theory on reddit and discord instead of deep diving into learning any useful nerd skills like AV gear and computer shit. like tech becoming super accessible, barriers to entry removed, made it so all of them are consoomer faggots.
