The key point is this. "Anarchism" is not possible without some form of strict authoritarian control. Someone at the top who wields tremendous trust and power must enforce anarchism, otherwise people will band together to exploit their neighbor.
The sort of freedoms and liberties that traditional Americans pine for are only possible if there is strict authoritarianism in certain areas of life. For instance, we need zero immigration and tariffs, both of which require some form of authoritarianism to make it happen. Without these things, we would just be overrun by invaders.

Yeah the idea that no enforcement of the social fabric would culminate in this individualist utopia where muh 300 guns hidden away in the closet will keep authoritarians at bay is delusion.
Anarchy is the predecessor to tyranny in every scenario. Your freedom only lasts until a bigger dog shows up to take it.
