Not only is it beautiful when it first falls, but nothing showcases the supremacy of Whiteness than dealing with snow.

Because it falls everywhere, it can never be handled well by (((centralized bureaucracy))), which means that there is a clear distinction between neighbourhoods with people who take the personal initiative to solve their own problems and those who don't.

On top of that, snow represents the opportunity for neighbourly charity. You help your elderly neighbour shovel and salt their walkways and they bring you a cup of coffee, creating and strengthening the bonds that should always be in effect, but are hidden when some central authority handles everything for everyone.

Snow also required forsight and planning. The reason I can help my neighbours is because I bought a shovel and I have snowpants and warm clothes.

Finally, snow is great for kids. They can be legitimately useful and experience what it's like to be able to do something that others can't do. They get to actually acheive something, which normally never happens. And they can just play in it without helicopter parents and teachers worrying they'll break something.

Tl;dr: If you got snow this week, get out in it.

All great points. I miss snow, we used to get a few inches a year but it's been nothing for the past few years.
