Nissan used to make good reliable cars, but since they started their "we'll finance anybody" policy, the quality plummeted. There's a known issue with the CVT transmissions they use where they overheat due to a bad sensor and blow out the whole transmission in under 90k miles that Nissan refuses to fix to this day.
