Interesting how much subversive shit gets translated or otherwise produced to be relentlessly shoved in our faces over Christmastime, yet such a renowned European classic with honest values is relegated to a mediocre Betamax recording of the first voice actors they could grab off the street, to be played a couple times in the '70s and then never again.
Of course with proper dubbing. I watched it with my mom, and it was beautiful. My mom later played the beautiful music on her phone in a park, and a passerby not only recognized it from the movie, but even the scene it was from.
