Because they are soft Gnostics and judaized at the same time. They both want to LARP as (Talmudic) jews, and yet at the same time believe the Old Testament is completely null and void and that the Moral Law has been done away with (it hasnt, the Jewish Ritual Purity laws and feasts are abolished, but the force of the Moral Law was actually made stricter by Christ. Their entire "theology" is based on emotions, whatever "feels" right to them they see as good, and whatever makes them uncomfortable they see as evil. They have also completely inverted the understanding of Christ's meekness and the reason He allowed Himself to be Crucified. It wasnt because non-violence is inherently virtuous (in fact, when it derives from cowardice, which most of the modern pacifist movement does, it is a sin), but because He was essentially ritually sacrificing Himself in a manner no other Man could in order to utterly break the Devil's hold on the souls of Men. There *is* a time and a place to fight against evil, and Christians are to be on constant watch against the World, the Flesh, and the Devil. Christ's Passion was not a pacifist self-flagellation, it was the greatest act of violence against the devil and his kingdom of vice that has ever been committed and ever will be.
