SO THAT’S WHERE THE VAMPIRE THING COMES FROM. There *was* a direct connection after all!
I’d love a citation…
**EDIT:** [Never mind, found it.](https://opensiddur.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Torah-Study-on-Christmas-Eve-Marc-Shapiro-1999.pdf) “Apostates” (OY VEY HOW DARE THEY LEAVE OUR RELIGION) in the 16th century. Good enough for me.

They invented hanukkah to take their minds off it, too. And don't forget, it was way more than "half" of the people. A vast majority of the people of the time correctly saw Jesus for what He was. It even says in the Gospel of John specifically that the pharisees attacked Jesus not on theological grounds but simply because the people were listening to Him now and not them. Really the only people who opposed Jesus *were* the pharisee/sadducee classes, and their immediate followers. They were quite good at manipulating the rest of the common people though, as kikes usually are.

Good find….. years ago I remember reading something about jews abstaining from any activity that brings them joy on Christmas Day, but for some reason the name of that tradition didn’t stick in my memory, and i don’t recall anything about garlic being a part of that tradition. Thank you for posting this, and Merry Christmas, OP!
Merry Christmas to you too! You’re all a bunch of fuckin assholes sometimes, but I still like and want to contribute quality content here whenever I find it.
I just read the Wikipedia article. It's possibly the most bizarre thing I've ever read, they believe Jesus will come out of the toilet to drag them down.
