Ian Fleming's villains were mostly (if not all) interracial. Dr. No is German-Japanese, for example. It was something he deeply despised. Others were implied to be homosexuals. There's no source to verify this "letter" from Lovecraft, but Fleming left no doubts about his views on the world.

Lovecraft literally wrote a very scathing racialized poem about the basketball Americans, I do not doubt the veracity of it too much…Anything is possible though
