Does anybody know how to get into logging or oil field work?

My whole life I've been hearing roughnecks and loggers make bank but always stayed away because of the risk. Well now I don't care.

I looked on indeed and these people are paying 15 an hour for this stuff? That can't be right. If you know how to get into this shit, or any other dangerous job that doesn't cause cancer, let me know.

I used to know a guy who worked on oil sands somewhere around Fort McMurray. He made around $150k/year and never saved anything. The town made sure the workers lost their money as quickly as they made it. Casinos, booze, drugs, prostitution. Even if he managed to come home for a break with some money, he spent it all on partying and booze.
