> God's church is not an idol.
Ehh, depends on what you mean. If you look at the fruit of the current Western Church, you got usury, homosexuality, trannies, jews are allowed to live in their countries, pornography is rampant, abortion is rampant, etc. You won't find a Western Church trying to actually organize its followers to combat any of this by applying the will of God because it involves being mean to people. Obviously completely and irredeemably infiltrated by satan.
The problem is that the church is man-made, and people tend to believe the teachings of the Western Church (aka the teachings of the world aka the teachings of satan) over literal scripture. Which would make it an idol.
Show a churchgoer the passage about the canaanite woman in Matthew 15 showing that Jesus was racist and tha t he only came for a particular bloodline of people, or Matthew 7:21-23 where Jesus says that just loving him and accepting him as your Lord isn't enough for salvation, and they will self-proclaim themselves as heretics by essentially placing what they learned in Sunday School above the literal words of Jesus.
If you're talking about a hypothetical church, then maybe not.
I don't even know what funko pops are. I'm guessing the doll things.
