This just really makes me want to get a 3D printer.

I hear this one is pretty good for that purpose, price isn't too bad either: https://store.creality.com/products/ender-3-v3-se-3d-printer

Honestly pay extra and get an auto calibration/ self leveling 3D printer. It’s worth the extra money. Trust me

Why? What does it mean to be self leveling?

Glad you asked. The “bed” must be level to the axis the extruded travels on. 3D printers are not a product that comes ready out of the box. Quite the opposite. They can sometimes be finicky machines. But when you get the settings right, you can do whatever you set your mind to.

I just saw the model you posted does have self leveling and calibration. My brother has this model. I have the OG ender 3 creality.

Yeah I saw leveling was referenced so I wasn't sure. I don't know much about them as of yet. Just stumbled on some people on Twitter saying this particular model is apparently really good for printing wireless hole punchers.
