I disagree. What if a retired handyman or mechanic made videos showing you how to fix things? That's valuable content, and it would give them something meaningful to do in retirement. It takes time and money to make videos. Editing isn't easy, which is why most people pay professionals to do it for them. A guy like that would deserve all the money he can make at it.

Then there's the women who -- yes, I'm serious -- review dildos and flavored lube. And the ones who do yoga in their underwear. And you already know about the clowns who make "reaction" videos and makeup tutorials. There's lots of junk out there. The fact that the junk is more popular is a condemnation of our culture than the platforms themselves.
