They genuinely promote this autistic sense of false empathy where if you haven’t experienced what another has experienced, you shouldn’t be expected to empathize with them. I remember reading this one psychological study which stated that leftists, on average, have a higher proclivity to empathize with inert beings such as rocks, or beings which have the smallest amount of sentience such as bacteria, paramecia, trees, plants, than their own immediate family. It’s probably accurate. It comes out of a rebellion and lack of respect to their parents and other immediate family members like brothers and sister and such, and also a general lack of empathy.
