I know someone who went from office work to remote work, and now homeschool their child while they remote work. It’s fucking amazing. She’s lit trolly getting paid by Zog to homeschool her kid. Occasionally she has a crazy busy day where she can school the child until after work, but usually she can get 90% of it done during the work day. It was rough at first, but she got it dialed in after about the first 3 months.

Thats awesome. It really doesn't take that much time. If more parents realized it only took a few hours a day I think more would do it.

People are fucking retarded. With one on one instruction, some days you can actually get away with one hour of instruction. On top of that, you can supplement a few hours on the weekend if, and when necessary. Most of what takes so long in school is having to cater to so many different personalities and corralling 💩s. I think she says on average she has to spend about 2-3 hours a day with her. The worst days of course, are just when her kid isn’t feeling it and slows the whole process down. It happens, and they’re human. They have bad days too. She usually tries to give her a 15 minute break for every hour of lessons while she catches up on her shit.
