I swear, this is something that’s almost super mystical and esoteric to the point that if you don’t understand it all, it’s genuinely over for you (unless you recognize the patterns after a bit of nudging).

It was directed by a guy who I don’t even need to read his early life page. I just know he’s of the rootless international clique. It stealthily promotes a more psychological, emotional type of incest with the weird revelation that that one princess is the sister of the main character (whom he once kissed in a romantic way)…

It too disparages fascistic and aristocratic Anglo-Dutch old stock aesthetics, down to the accent, by portraying them as villainous. The so-called “dark-side” represents genuine Christian ethics and self control whereas the light side or whatever the fuck this series I don’t care about called it and is implied to be about some sort of weird ritualized defeat, where you let go of all attachments. Very similar to pseudo-new age fake Hippie shit.

Going deeper, it even has traces of the white guilt trope. The main character is the biological son of the main villain. Upon realizing this, there’s a weird dynamic between the two and they team up to overthrow the emperor. The “rebel alliance” also constantly has to one up the fascistic empire to the point that they almost seem like a bunch of histrionic, pinko, whining losers with a very distinctively American libertarian ethos. Born from a spirit of teenage rebellion against the paternal, divine order.

No wonder it was so popular during the time. It’s basically the founding myth of American progressivism. If you like it at all, even slightly, you’re being groomed in almost every aspect. Every part of it is disgusting and morally reprehensible if you have the correct pattern recognition. I could go on further but then I’d have enough words to make an entire book.

Im probably going to be more suspicious of it since ive never met a good person thats too into star wars…I try to find types of media people hate, but not schizophrenically like everything. Its a good barrier. I just feel its too popular and attracts certain phenotypes of people

knowing what i know now, for movies - i avoid 99.9% of them because I understand they're mostly plebian slop and those phenotypes of people you write about flock to these movies. when i do watch movies like that it's a conscious decision to do so to spend time with other people. or to have a good laugh at their* attempts to manipulate us.
