I am currently of the belief, after extensively hearing out both sides of the argument, that the most authentic reading of Christianity, textually and historically, is indeed an extremely anti-semitic one. If the right version of the religion managed to make a well and true resurgence, I think it could work for society once more.
But there are problems. In order to get to this understanding of Christianity, it takes hours, on hours, on hours, of theological dissertation. It is vastly nuanced with a mountain of context required to support the position. I think once it has all been presented, it is a strong argument, but very few will hear it out. And ironically, those who already identify as Christians of a different interpretation will be infinitely more impossible to convert than pure non believers seeking truth.
Because that's the thing, isn't it? Everyone's got their own spin on the Bible and Christianity broadly. No matter how defensible your theology is, it won't have any weight behind it without good old Money, Power, and Influence on the larger scale. Not while 90% of Christians are Zionists and they are the ones with bottomless pockets and endless media outreach.
