The shooters last internet post was him saying he wanted to be with a cartoon character in the afterlife.
How is this disturbingly specific scenario an actual phenomenon, even if it's just the two instances?
Probably a whole psychological rabbit hole, but my broad bet is on on the loneliness epidemic.
