Lucia-neito is a Finnish-Swedish tradition celebrated on December 13, particularly in the Swedish-speaking regions of Finland. A young woman, symbolizing Saint Lucia, wears a white gown with a red sash and a crown of candles. She leads a procession while singing songs, spreading light and hope during the darkest time of the year.

Saint Lucia was a Roman citizen and a Christian martyr in the 4th century. She is celebrated for her faith, charity, and role as a bringer of light. According to legend, she wore a wreath of candles to free her hands while bringing food to persecuted Christians in the catacombs. Her feast day, December 13, coincided with the Winter Solstice in the old Julian calendar, symbolizing the return of light.

If white person played role of Shaka Zulu it would be considered cultural appropriation but clearly white culture is free for anyone except for white people.
