Here's a thought experiment to try on those who view puberty blockers as a good thing: ask them if it would be good to give them to pets. Who wouldn't want a puppy or kitten for 10 years? So small and playful. Or how about that baby hippo that was making the rounds this year? Give it blockers so it's adorable for it's whole life. If they balk at the notion, saying it's animal abuse, then ask them what makes it different when they're given to human children

Actually, this is quite literally what spaying and neutering does to animals, and why I'm against such mutilation even if does make them more tame.
