Frickin' cogs, that's how we used to transmit engine power to the pump and driveshaft. Cost just a little bit more to make and such engines are basically bullet proof. Instead we got feckin wet belts, rubber in oil which dissolve in oil and fuck up the engine in just a few years. Never buy a Pegeoeot, Renault or Ford with eco boost engine.

I'd kill for one of these classic cars. Commiefornia imports have never been exposed to road salt and are practically ruse free.

Anecdote: I have a 2014 Fusion with the 2.0L EcoBoost. 260,000 miles and no issues.
