The Russians and Iranians could not help Assad, and that was his only real chance.
Iran is a trickster. I give little to no faith to a nation that exists because of Israeli funding.
There's no reason why they *couldnt* help syria.
There's nothing stopping Iran from sending their army, not being used for anything, into syria right now and wiping the floor with the rebels. I'll give russia that, their army is busy in the Ukraine. But what is Iran's army doing? Nothing. Just launching a couple sorties back and forth into Israel.
Yet they don't help. Hmm... odd. And Iran is taking away everyone they had in syria as it falls. Weird that is.

You can't trust any fake MSM news on any of these topics. They're all written by liars and CIA operatives and distributed to all their subsidiaries to help shape public opinion.
