One of Pot's actions I could get behind was when he swept up the 'intellectuals' and made them work in the fields, tending crops.

Who *wouldn't* like to see squads of gender-studies grads, "tech-evangelists" and marketing majors marching out each morning to do manual labor that actually *produced something useful*?
