These were always called "Kept women" . The were there for the money and life style. There was never love and they would depart for a better offer.

"True love" is a complete myth cooked up by jews to normalize divorce. Most marriages based on attraction, in reality lust, fall apart in countries with no-fault divorce because the two spouses eventually stop being attracted to one another as they age. Marriage should be done logically and ensure that the two spouses actually have something in common rather than just being attracted to each other.
