Needs alternative? How about raising more cows?
"Cows are dangerous fart machines" says the parasites whom hate farmers.
Its because its easier for the average joe to raise cows and sustain himself and his family off of them than to raise bugs, because bug farming needs to be done at an industrial scale. So guess who would control the food supply if we switched from meat raised by farmers to bugs grown by corporations.
I look at the machines and additives and processing and just want to tell these people "You realize milk just comes straight out of cows, right?"
I am less than a year away from owning ten acres. I just need a little time to set up a proper homestead. From that point on this wonderful fucking bullshit wouldn't matter to me

* Pasture land is created from desert that cattle have grazed over years
Rotational grazing is literally creating farmland where desert used to be. Look it up.
Some of these guys are adding 6" or more of topsoil to their farmland every year.
