You are sorely mistaken if you think that it's more expensive to use a bullet than to fly a jet plane across the Atlantic and then have to set up containment and logistics for the defensive perimeter in perpetuity
Don't even get me started on the loss of life that we would be facing if we don't handle the problem with rifles
