Like the jews, they really don't have any friends in the region. The Turks want them gone, Saddam wanted them gone.
And like the jews, they're now undermining the very people who saved them. Iran didn't need to ally with them, they could have just let Saddam kill them all, and would've fared better in the long run.

Just like America's own little tribe of ungrateful desert savages....
