Libertarians, and even greedy deceptive kikes such as Milton Friedman, admitted that you could have open borders or a welfare state, but not both at same time. Handing out welfare to people who just migrated to and plopped down on your land is just incentivizing invasion by a hostile people who will vote differently than you do. Disclaimer - I am not promoting libertarianism, but just cherry picking this quote.
