In the last couple of days, I went down the Russo-Ukrainian war rabbit hole that I have been cynically avoiding for the past few years and I have noticed a few things.

1. No one releases war footage unless it's propaganda, but it is interesting that everything I have found is pro-Ukrainian propaganda meaning that only Ukraine has good footage to turn into propaganda or I just don't know where to look for the other side.

2. Even if the footage from the Ukrainians is propaganda, there are videos of Russians driving Ladas to a Ukrainian trench solo and getting BTFO. Like what do they expect?

3. In these propaganda videos they always say "A *Ukrainian* Bradley* or "A *Ukrainian* Abrams" and I'm thinking "Bitch, that's *American iron* [insert eagle screech here]". Also, where did Ukraine get all those Javelins and other western weaponry???

4a. The psychopathic anti-Russian comment sections. I completely understand why Ukrainians wouldn't like Russian soldiers. But it is some kind of post-apocalyptic shit to see a weary, last man standing without a gun, collapsing in a field, trying to light a cigarette only to be taunted and killed by a drone.

4b. I remember Ron Paul making a comment that there are U.S. soldiers who have never experienced combat apart from piloting drones that get PTSD. I think that is nothing more than the result of straight up murdering people who are no threat to you. It's one thing to be in a kill or be killed situation but it's another thing to be wearing a VR headset in some bunker and offing someone who is no longer a threat.

5. Does Russia really suck this bad or are they deliberately trying to reduce the population of the Russian federation in certain areas? I've read that they're sending convicts and other people (mostly from the eastern regions) to the "meat grinder".

I'm not on telegram so that's probably why I haven't seen the Russian side of the military industrial complex propaganda.
