The world may be rife with darkness and evil, and the road before us is a rough one, but on this day of feasting and family, I say we take a moment to count our blessings. Even in the worst of circumstances, there is always something to be grateful to God for.

I am thankful to have a job I enjoy.

I have absolutely top-tier family/friends. They've always been amazing. My father recently passed (out of nowhere) and we were able to go on (what was to be) the last vacation together just before. I'm thankful we got to do that. Though, this being the first holiday without him sucks. But, as they say, all good things must come to an end. He was a *strong* leader and patriarch of the family so it seems really different without him. A big, strong character and a hellava father. The fam and friends have all be so helpful with everything I need and would do anything I ask. Couldn't do it without them.
