Found out that I am a descendant of both Charlemange and Harald Bluetooth thanks to the FamilySearch app - all this on my paternal Grandfather's side of the family (1/4th of my ancestry). Give it a try and give yourself something to be proud of. I know I'll be searching for more.

There are people who genuinely care about their fellow human beings, and are willing to provide something as a free service out of their own pocket.
I know it's hard to believe.
But the church gets literally nothing from people using the site and looking up their family records.
