Cars peaked in the 90's, nowadays it's like every brand are trying to be a shittier version of Pontiac Aztec but with a shitload of fragile technology and pathetic 3 cylinder engines with plastic turbo and so much (((planned obsolesce))) it probably explode after just a few years.
Late 60s American cars were the best style. Camaros, super sports, Impalas, chargers, mustangs, etc. In movies such as John wick he drives a 69 mustange, 70 supersport, 71 Plymouth, etc
About 10 years ago they tried to make modern cars imitating the late 60s style and they were cheap fiberglass knockoffs.
For efficiency, reliability, repairability, etc I think you might be right about 90s being the peak. Since 2000, cars and trucks have become worse for repairs, reliability, etc
Every vehicle on the road in USA today looks like a crossover between moms minivan and a sport utility vehicle without tow capacity or 4 wheel drive. In other words, people look homosexual driving around today.
Agreed. One of the last affordable sports cars that I truly enjoyed was the Honda s2k which all the tech that was in it was developed in the 90s. It was like a better looking Miata with more HP, and a better sounding engine.
