Christmas Eve until either Epiphany (Jan 6th) or Candlemas (Feb 2nd). Anything else is unholy.

They will literally not be happy until Christmas is boiled down to a consumer event that is just excessive shopping and a table full of processed food. If it wasn't for retail & credit industry profits, the media would have already relegated Christmas to the same cultural backwater that Easter has been dumped into.

not Christmas Eve but the feast day of Adam and Eve (although still Dec 24th) was marked with a tabletop tree decorated with apples, started in Latvia and spread to Germany.

Brought to the US and turned into room height trees in the 1800s
Toast message
