Why does Wikipedia describe progressivism is the United States as a left wing political philosophy, then the entire history of the progressive movement is banning prostitution, prohibition, eugenics, voter registration laws, literacy tests before voting, disenfranchising black voters, and preservation of wildlife.

Wait till you learn the left or Dems used to be for smaller government and essentially everything the “republicans” now stand for…. There was a swaparoo and now theyre accelerate
