Can people see these videos? My browser has been reporting pomf.lain's cert is bad for months.

this fucking nerd lmao

use a chorimum based browser like everyone else, any gripes with spyware or ads can be filtered out with add-ons (Ublock Origin and tampermonkey with the right scripts)

An ad blocking extension isn’t going to stop jewgle from spying on you via chrome.

they're all gonna spy on you mate, ungoogled Chormium, Brave, and many others that provide the same service but with LESS spyware

Lol long story, but Google 'has to' fund Firefox to avoid anti-monopoly lawsuits. Most of us older school linux guys use it because of anti-Google, anti-walled garden, etc. sentiment.

I run ublock and Tamper/Violentmonkey as well. IIRC, those extensions originated on FF way back when.

Try Brave but it sounds like an ISP issue.

the cert is fine, it's a 3 month renewable let's encrypt one

firefox is fine with it

perhaps your ISP DNS blocks https://pomf2.lain.la/

this is what you should get from DNS (1.1.1.1 is cloudflare's dns server)

$ nslookup

> pomf2.lain.la
Server: 1.1.1.1
Address: 1.1.1.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: pomf2.lain.la

DNS resolves correctly, though I'm showing a different cert chain than you. I am showing 'Cisco Umbrella Secondary SubCA [****]' -> 'Cisco Umbrella Primary SubCA' -> 'Cisco Umbrella Root CA'. Dates are valid.

Lain.la is weird in that it tries to force going to pomf2.lain.la but that never resolves for me. Instead go to pomf.lain.la and when it says the security certificate is bad just go to the address again in the same browser window tab.
