This is hilarious. I don't mean to sidetrack your thread, but several months ago someone on this forum posted an anon thread a little like this one, but it was written by a former volunteer in Africa for some agency. He was in charge of teaching them how to farm, and how to plant seeds in rows, cultivate them, etc., etc. Except they just ate the seeds, ignored instruction, and multiple other ridiculous idiocies.

By chance does anyone have a link to the one I described? Much appreciated!

That one is also funny. Basically, they gave away free everything required to run a farm except for water. One guy grew a bunch of wheat, baked bread, and was going to sell it for a profit. But then his great uncle came along and said "gibs me dat, da family needs dat" and their shame based culture prevented him from saying no. So now profit is zero and he had to sell everything to feed his family the next month. Then everyone was hungry again. Lmao.
