I use it on the wooden pole. I may be tall but even I can't reach that far up without a ladder ;-)

To be honest, I haven't seen them either IRL, but I've seen a few pictures, they look like shitty phone/telegraph lines, some sections may be attached to buildings, but they do use a lot of wooden poles.

It's amazing how much effort (((they))) put into trying to fool God. u/#topkek
